Privacy notice
This notice explains what Plotfair does with the details you give us through the buyer test form on this site. Plotfair is run by Paul Stainsby, who is the data controller. Contact: hello@plotfair.co.uk.
What we collect
Your first name, email address, where you are looking to buy, how far along you are, and the builders or house types you mention. We do not ask for financial details. The monthly calculator runs in your browser and does not send us what you type.
Why we use it, and on what basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Contacting you about the buyer test and sending the comparisons you asked for | Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form |
| Learning which features help buyers, from what you tell us | Your consent |
We do not sell your details, use them for advertising, or pass them to builders, estate agents or mortgage brokers.
Who processes it for us
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which stores form submissions for us in its database service. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK under safeguards recognised by UK law.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site, so your browser does not contact anyone else when you visit.
How long we keep it
Until the buyer test ends, and no longer than 12 months from when you sign up. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@plotfair.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
